Blooming Prairie, MN, August 2015 – Brad Klemmensen continues his hot streak as the Meritor ChampTruck World Series heads to Hastings, Nebraska, September 12th and 13th.

Minimizer’s Team Tortured driver took third in the Podium Race at Virginia International Raceway, his best podium finish since placing second at Charlotte in July.

The Meritor ChampTruck World Series features stock, over-the-road Class 8 trucks racing at speeds approaching 100 mph. It also marks the return of big rig racing to the United States, after the Great American Truck Racing circuit folded in the early 1990s.

Klemmensen is fourth overall in points after six events, trailing series leader Mike Morgan. Allen Boles, who won the Podium Race at VIR, is second, while his Jupiter teammate Ricky Rude is third. Klemmensen’s Minimizer teammate Trevor Kruckeberg ranks seventh.

Motorsports Park Hastings hosts the Nebraska race September 12th and 13th. It’s the seventh of nine races scheduled for this season.
